The Best Parks In East London

Social Social

When the sun comes out in London, there’s no better place to be than a park. Whether you want to catch some rays, enjoy a BBQ or even take a dip, you can’t beat the parks in East London. So we’ve rounded up our favourite parks that are just a short walk or cycle away from The Project at Hoxton.

London Fields

It might be one of the most popular parks in East London, but it’s easy to see why. London Fields has a Lido (outdoor swimming pool) perfect for cooling off on a hot day, BBQ areas for you to fire up the grill, as well as tennis courts, table tennis, a cricket pitch and a good few pubs surrounding the green too. What more could you want?!

Victoria Park

One of the biggest parks in East London, Victoria Park has plenty of room for you to find a quiet spot. Alongside tennis courts, football pitches and cricket grounds, there’s also a Boating Lake where you can hire pedalos and rowing boats. And if you fancy a tipple, the park is surrounded by pubs – our favourite is The Hemmingway.

Haggerston Park

This is one of the closest parks to The Project at Hoxton and it’s got everything you need. It is a large open space that’s partially walled-in, as well as having  football pitches, a BMX track, basketball courts and a ping pong table, Haggerston Park also contains Hackney City Farm (perfect for when you want to escape city life!).

Mile End Park

Filled with wildlife, Mile End Park is one of the more unique parks in East London. Expect wild flower meadows, ponds that are home to water birds, amphibians and dragonflies, and small wooded areas with butterflies and wild flowers. Yes, you can get a true taste of the British countryside right here in East London.

As well as being surrounded by great parks, The Project at Hoxton has its own courtyard and roof garden where you can enjoy the summer sun too.
