The Best Markets In East London
The Project at Hoxton is in the heart of East London and is surrounded by some of the best shops, bars and restaurants in the city. But it doesn’t stop there, we’re also nearby some world famous markets – check out our favourites below >>
Columbia Road Flower Market
You can practically see Columbia Road from The Project, and it’s one of the best markets in town. Every Sunday the cobbled street is filled with cockney traders selling flowers and plants. It’s any instagrammers dream and the place to go if you want to pick up some bargain plants.

If you’re into food, Broadway Market should definitely be on your list. Expect some of the best street food in town, fresh organic produce, vintage clothes and vinyl – and if the crowds get too much London Fields is just up the road! Every Saturday, rain or shine!

Brick Lane Market
Brick Lane is famous for it’s salt beef bagels and curry houses, but every Sunday one of the largest markets in London takes over. Although you can pretty much find everything here, it’s the best place to hunt down vintage clothes, second hand furniture and street food.
Brick Lane, Spitalfields, London E1 6QR
Billingsgate Market is slightly further away from The Project, but something you’ve got to see – it’s the UK’s oldest and most iconic fish market! Open Tuesday – Saturday, 4.30am – 9.30am, you’ll need to make an early start, but it’ll give you a glimpse into London life like you’ve never seen it before.
