Hoxton: The Brunch Guide
We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day – our bodies work so much better when we eat in the morning. So we’ve rounded up our favourite brunch spots near The Project, for when you want to enjoy a lazy breakfast with friends or just have nothing left in your apartment to eat!
This place is a bit of a walk, or a short bus ride away, but it’s so worth it. Hash E8 is like an old school cafe and puts a spin on all the breakfast classics. Think bacon french toast, hash brown eggs benedict, pancakes with maple syrup and chorizo & sweet potato hash. They also do one of the best veggie full english’s out there!
170 Dalston Lane, London E8 1NG
You’ve got to set your alarm for this one as breakfast is over at 11.45am, but you won’t regret it. Dishoom is one of the best Indians in London and their breakfast menu includes the likes of Kejriwal (a.k.a fried eggs on chilli cheese toast), chicken livers on toast and their famous naan rolls stuffed with your choice of bacon, eggs, sausages.
7 Boundary Street, London E2 7JE
Think Californian vibes at the Insta-worthy Cafe Miami. Their menu will bring back childhood memories with peanut butter and jelly on toast, homemade pop tarts and fish finger tacos, as well as sweetcorn fritters and cinnamon roll pancakes.
24 Lower Clapton Road, London E5 0PD
Ozone Coffee Roasters
If you like your coffee as much as you love your food, Ozone Coffee Roasters is the brunch spot for you. Expect smoked fish kedgeree with poached eggs, omelettes filled with carrot, creamed courgette & swiss chard, banana bread with nut butter & jam, and braised wagyu mince on focaccia. Oh and they’re opening another spot literally just round the corner from us…
